Linda Smith has died at the age 48. you will probably recognise her from appearances on Have I Got News For You? and suchlike. I remember her radio 4 series,
A Brief History of Timewasting from a few years ago. It was full of puns and wordplay, but the gag ratio was extremely high and it always managed to make me laugh.
Sad news indeed.
