The visuals look great and Zack Snyder is one of the few people who can do justice to the book.
I read somewhere that there are going to be two versions of The Watchmen made. One will be a shorter version of it for a theatrical release, and there will be an extended DVD release that will include the Black Freighter plot.
It looks very good, but I still say its like trying to make a telephone into a cake. And yes G, there will be a DVD version of the film with the Black Freighter plot.
