So here it is, the exciting You Owe Me Glue based news that practically no one is waiting for. Radio Scotland have comissioned a pilot from us. It's being recorded at The Stand in Woodlands Road on Wednesday the 23rd of July. And you can come see it happen! And! It's free!
At the moment we're not sure how you can get in, if it's going to be a ticketed affair or names on a list. When we've sorted that out we'll post it on here and elsewhere. As well as the recording of the half-hour pilot we'll probably be doing a few other sketches and there will also be one or two supporting comedians before we get going. And maybe free drinks. One free drink. Mibbie.
Oh aye and it's called 'The Magic Glue' and not You Owe Me Glue. So see yeez there.

Woo hoo! Nice one fellas.
Congratulations guys! Not sure about the name change, but hey, this is excellent news.
Fantastic! Nice one guys!! Will try and pop along!
Fantastic! My parents will be here then - think they can come along? They probably won't understand a word of it, but I'll try to translate for them.
No G, neither are we sure about the name change. The Beeb felt (with some justification I suppose) that YOMG was a bit obscure and we tried and tried to come up with something else that worked. But the show is YOMG and it was a bit like trying to rename your kid after it already having had a name for 4 years - an odd experience. In the end, our suggestions were shite, so the head honchos up at Pacific Quay came up with the Magic Glue, which is believe me, a lot less horrible than some of the awful suggestions we came up with.
If anything, this will always remind me to think more carefully before naming a child, a lesson one would have thought I would have learned after the birth of young Torquemada Spongeface McCock, but there you go...

I would love to come and see the show, but i am currently serving time in a spanish prison for fondling a chimpanzee. Save me a seat though incase big george carter can come and bust me out.

Well done guys, In agreement with G, on the name change that blows. At least it's the magic glue and not something like "Man Glue" or one of Frasers old favourites "Baby Batter".
Let us know about the tickets it's not one of these afternoon recordings for the unwashed is it?
