It's Snowing

It’s snowing quite heavily here. Since about 9am Katie has been excitedly hoping that we’ll all be sent home, due to lack of public transport. I have assured her that her fears are unfounded, as there is no way that a bit of snow would stop First Glasgow from delivering anything less than their usual first class service.

There are some photos below, including one of the gang who unsuccessfully attempted to engage Fraser in a snowball fight.

The fence around the nursery makes the whole place look like a prison.

Then again, I am currently experiencing the wondrous freedom of...unemployment.

Get this: I dropped off a CV at a deli because I've been dropping CVs off at anyplace with a "Staff Wanted" sign. I got a call back from them for an assistant manager position. That sounded good, I thought, even though I've never worked with food before. But hey, how hard can it be to place orders for food and disciple my subordinates for no good reason and make a sandwich from time to time, right? So I got psyched up for this, showed up to the place, only to find out that they were looking for someone with deli experience. Which would have been completely clear had they actually looked at my CV before picking up the phone. A complete waste of time.

Yeah, freedom is grand.
