This fucker was born on the same day as me. On December 6, 2006 he signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He received a $1.15 million contract, with a club option for 2008. No bad, eh? I, on the other hand, work in a dead end office job and am looking down the barrel of £17 a week to live on for the next two months. No bad, eh? It’s his birthday today. Happy birthday to him.

I remember being just a little to young for the adult parts of it (not adult naughty, adult relationship-y) but I do remember being scared and excited at them peeling off their skin. Happy birthday Tom, you should have let us know yesterday, we could have put a candle on a Twinkie for you! On a more sombre note, Wilfred Bramble, the actor who played Albert Steptoe, and Rudyard Kipling both died on this very day.
