Attack of the Clones

Something I've noticed recently when getting the bus is that all wee guys these days are wide. Time was when I was young there was a cross section. You had your neds, you had cool guys, you had swats, wet boys, proper psychos and awkward looking kids.

Now though everyone seems to act hard. On the bus on Saturday there was a pile of wee guys at the back (where else?) acting up, one of them had big ears and a stupid look on his coupon. Exactly the kind of wee guy that would have been chased around the playground greeting for his Mammy when I was that age.

Is it just survival instinct or has there been a shift change? Who do they bully if all of them are wide-os?

And while I'm at it, what's with neds wearing nail varnish? Do they kick themselves in?
